Although the Pandemic is over, our Dear Leader still seemed to disappear off on a course for the whole of the summer at his Cornish Lair.

But he tells us that the summer is setting, and he has returned to a busy Autumn schedule.

Busy with deals that we know he will have ingeniously cooked up whilst avoiding the bunkers.  In addition, he has three major conferences planned this Autumn, two organised by VSA and a third which VSA is sponsoring and will be supporting in full.

The first is the International Mining Marathon of the Shanghai Mining Club on Tuesday October 18th. This will run from 3am to 3pm in London and 10 am to 10pm in Beijing and will have Companies presenting across the globe starting in Vancouver at 7pm and then moving to Sydney at 11 am, coming back through London at 8am and finishing in Toronto at 8am. this is quite an ambitious programme and it will give mining companies across the globe the opportunity to present to hundreds of Chinese and international investors at a fraction of the cost of many conferences they attend.  As our Dear Leader would say “more bang for your buck!".

The second is a very exciting Aquis Showcase event on Tuesday November 29th where all of the major companies listed on Aquis will be presenting and giving 1 on 1 chats with investors. This event, which is jointly sponsored by Aquis and Armstrong Teasdale, will be the first of its kind and follows the launch of the VSA Capital AQSE APEX Index. It will be an ideal opportunity for high-net-worth investors and institutions to meet Aquis companies and the number of companies on Aquis is growing rapidly. The day will also be competitive with the “Britain’s got Aquis” challenge to find the best Aquis company out there.

Finally, VSA will be very active participants in the Cornish Mining Conference being held in Falmouth on September 29th although strangely it appears that Our Dear Leader needs the whole week in Cornwall to prepare for it!

Although it was a quiet summer VSA did close some very interesting fund raises, raising money for European gas (very topical) a lithium hydroxide plant (very much required) and a Cornish mining exploration company.

If you have interest in any of these events please get in touch with the team below, or your usual VSA contact.
