History

The company has its origins in 1989, beginning as David Williamson & Associates (DWA), specialising in providing advice and assistance to small and medium sized companies in the London Capital markets.

In the 1990’s it took advantage of a dearth of in-house mining expertise in the broking and corporate advice fraternity to position itself as a specialist in the field, and today VSA is recognised as one of the oldest independent natural resources brokerage houses in the UK.

The name change and re-branding from DWA to VSA Resources took place in 2002 and subsequently the firm also became a member of the London Stock Exchange.

Recently, the firm has changed it's name to VSA Capital to more fully reflect it's expanded sector coverage and present range of services including funding, IPO's and admission to AIM as a primary broker.
