About Us

VSA Capital Limited was founded in 1989 under the name of David Williamson Associates, with a focus on listing Canadian companies on the London Stock Exchange.  Throughout its 22 year history, its focus has been on the mining and oil & gas sectors.  

In the 1990s VSA took advantage of a dearth of in-house mining expertise in the broking and corporate advice fraternity to position itself as a specialist in these sectors and, today, VSA Capital is recognised as one of the oldest independent natural resources brokerage houses in the UK.

In August 2010, VSA was acquired by AIM listed Third Quad Capital plc in a buy-out led by Andrew Monk (CEO).  In February 2011, Third Quad disposed of its Technology Division, becoming solely focussed on its financial services division, changing its name to VSA Capital Group plc (VSA.L) to reflect its commitment to the VSA brand.

The firm now provides integrated corporate finance, institutional sales and equity research services to natural resources focused investors and companies.  VSA has a broad range of clients who are listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange and AIM.
